Earlier this month US regulator the Commodities Futures Trading Commission ordered a man named Jon Barry Thompson to repay more than $7 million to two companies that he was accused of defrauding in scam bitcoin deals. The authority had filed civil charges against Thompson, a Pennsylvania-based man accused of defrauding two companies – one of them Irish – out of millions of dollars. The man, who also went by J.
