Developer Gerry Gannon, behind Gannon Homes, was one of the big property players of the Celtic Tiger era. At the peak of his powers, he co-owned the K Club golf resort with Michael Smurfit and was one of the select Maple Ten group of investors approached to help out Anglo Irish Bank in 2008.
