It was a small funeral in Donnybrook Parish Church due to Covid-19 restrictions. Bill Barrett, one of the key people in creating Anglo Irish Bank up until 2002, had his funeral there last Tuesday. He was just 73 when he died after an illness. Mobile phone tycoon Denis O’Brien was in attendance, as was aviation entrepreneur Ulick McEvaddy. Developer Gerry Gannon was also there.
