Promise Gluten Free, the Donegal baker majority owned by Mayfair Equity Partners, has acquired Rudi’s Gluten Free Bakery and Rudi’s Organic Bakery brands in the United States. The deal was closed in May and the Irish bread maker has now appointed Brian McGuire to run its operations there. McGuire was previously president of a frozen dessert maker called Steven Roberts Original Desserts, which had sales of over $500 million.
