It is almost a year since Martin O’Reilly relocated to Boston to head up the US expansion of his sports tech start-up Output Sports. A spinout from UCD, it develops wearable sensors for athletes and data analytics tools, and has amassed notable users in European football as well as Olympic gold medallist Daniel Wiffen.
