Ireland’s Open Data Portal currently gives the public access to more than 20,000 datasets from multiple State departments, agencies and bodies.  A recent EU survey put Ireland in the top five performers in 2024 in its Open Data Maturity Assessment. This ranks member states on how well they are doing in making public sector information widely available to the public at large.
