Hanwha, the South Korean conglomerate, has its hands on several sectors like aerospace, defence, and energy. It has now added aircraft engine leasing and a base in Dublin to that sprawling set. In early 2024, it established its new Hanwha Aviation unit for aircraft engine leasing, headquartered in Singapore with a subsidiary in Dublin.
