The lender who funded the acquisition of Oakmount’s proposed hotel development in Birmingham has appointed a receiver to the property in the UK and launched legal action against Paddy McKillen Jr in Ireland. Company filings show that Dublin-based AHG Properties Untld appointed London receivers Damian Webb and Christopher Lewis to Central Hall, an early 20th-century former Methodist church and community centre in the English city.
