Nordic Aviation Capital (NAC) has settled part of its $58 million (€52.62 million) insurance claim over four aircraft beached in Russia following the invasion of Ukraine in February 2022. The Commercial division of the High Court has agreed to strike out proceedings brought by NAC against five insurers: AIG, Chubb, Lloyds (solely in its capacity as a war risks insurer), Fidelis, and HDI Global.
