In recent days, the scoping inquiry report into the abuse of children in schools run by religious orders was published. It was a damning and disturbing document. The bravery of the men and women who have come forward is awe-inspiring.  The inquiry found 2,395 allegations of sexual abuse in 308 schools recorded by the religious orders that ran those schools.
