The businessman who owned the Iceland franchise in Ireland before its collapse last year has initiated High Court proceedings against online publication, The Journal. Naeem Maniar filed what The Currency understands to be a summons for a defamation suit against Journal Media Ltd on Friday through the law firm Meagher Solicitors.
