I meet Laurent Germain in the Dundrum office of the engineering company previously known as JB Barry. The premises have been freshly rebranded under the name of the businesses’ new owner Egis, the Paris-based group headed up by Frenchman Germain. Yet Liam Prendiville, who used to be JB Barry’s former managing director and largest shareholder, is present.
