Bluedrop Medical, a Galway-based medtech start-up, is being sued by a US rival claiming it copied its technology. Podimetrics, a medical device company based in Massachusetts, filed the complaint in a court in Texas, where Bluedrop’s US base is located, late last month. Bluedrop Medical and Podimetrics have both developed medical devices for assisting people with diabetes.
