The commission responsible for overseeing the running of the Oireachtas has initiated legal proceedings in a bid to quash an enforcement notice served on it by the Data Protection Commission (DPC). The Houses of the Oireachtas Commission is the governing body which oversees the delivery of services to the Houses of the Oireachtas, parliamentary members and members of the public by the Houses of the Oireachtas Service.
