The extraordinary story of members of the Irish Defence Forces travelling over the border to access private health care in Northern Ireland is about to take a new twist. In 2018, PDFORRA, the representative organisation of the defence forces, established PMAS, the PDFORRA Medical Assistance Scheme (PMAS). PMAS is a not-for-profit company, limited by guarantee.
