An application to have former Ireland rugby international Brendan Mullin declared bankrupt over an alleged debt of €1.8 million has been withdrawn. The sportsman turned businessman was being pursued by Mount Street Mortgage Servicing Limited (MSMS) along with his former business partner Stephane Fund on foot of a €2 million High Court judgment against both men dating back to April 2022. The judgment arose from guarantees on loans made to Nama for property acquisitions in Ballsbridge.
