Irish Distillers, the company behind Jameson, has copper-fastened a €1 million protective costs order ahead of a legal showdown with rival whiskey brand The Wild Geese. It comes as the Court of Appeal approved a High Court decision awarding Irish Distillers security for costs. A million euros is a lot of money, for some more than others.
