Bio-Marine Ingredients Ireland has applied to the High Court to restructure its debts using the small company administrative rescue process (Scarp). The company filed to enter this process on October 24 and is represented by law firm Eversheds, according to a court filing from Vizlegal, a legal information service that monitors court records. The business, which is majority owned by Killybegs fishing families, had been seeking to raise €50 million from institutional investors in February 2022 after raising a €6.5 million convertible loan note from clients of Cantor Fitzgerald in order to produce a range of high-value fished-based food ingredients.…
