Until recently John Clendennen was busy planning for the future. He was engrossed with a team of engineers, architects, interior designers and his banks as he prepared to expand his hospitality business in the picturesque village of Kinnitty near the Slieve Bloom Mountains in Co Offaly.  Clendennen owns a popular pub in the village called Giltraps, as well as a townhouse for guests and a glamping park.
