So far two private providers of fertility care have been successful in their tender for government contracts to provide IVF treatment in Ireland from September.  The tender, which was advertised in May 2023, specified that there would be no limit to the number of approved service providers admitted to the “authorisation scheme” and there would be no ranking of the approved providers.
