The company behind Packed House, which runs Entertainment.ie and several other websites, has appointed a process advisor to work out a rescue plan under the new Small Companies Administrative Rescue Process (Scarp). The process was designed to help small businesses – those with no more than 50 staff and a maximum turnover of €12 million – that typically can’t afford the fees associated with a High Court examinership, but which can be salvaged through a restructuring process.
